Make sure you prepare as it is really obvious if you don’t!

• Research the company using the website, literature etc
• Know their product and competitors
• Know the job spec and what they are looking for
• Know where you are going
• Know that you can definitely get there on time
• Know your career resume
• Know your achievements and how you achieved them
• Think of challenging work scenarios and how you overcome them
• Know yourself – your strengths and weaknesses (areas of improvement)
• Know what drives and motivates you
• Know your point of difference – Why should someone employ you?
• Always have a clean crisp, up to date suit, - Even if you are attending an interview after work and you currently work in casual dress
• If you are traveling by car ensure that it is clean on the outside and inside and it looks immaculate
• Prepare questions
• Prepare answers for typical interview questions
